Manufacturing Engineer IIII am currently partnering with a highly innovative and rapidly growing medical device manufacturing organization that is expanding its engineering team. This company is a recognized leader in advanced engineering, prototyping, and micro manufacturing, with a strong focus on cutting edge technologies and continuous improvement.We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer III to support the development and optimization of laser processing applications for complex medical device components.Job DescriptionDevelop and implement laser processing applications for new and existing productsDesign robust and cost effective manufacturing processes and oversee validation activities, particularly for Nitinol componentsMaintain, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade laser systems as neededIdentify and propose new technologies to enhance manufacturing capabilitiesInvestigate process issues and implement corrective and preventive actionsAnalyze and establish cost models for new products and process changesLead and support manufacturing and project related initiatives across multiple prioritiesDrive continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methodologiesLead process development, qualification, and improvement efforts for equipment and test methodsDevelop and maintain required documentation in compliance with quality and regulatory standardsServe as a technical resource and contribute to cross functional and global initiativesEnsure adherence to safety, regulatory, and quality system requirementsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
