Urgent Care Physician (MD/DO)\n

Key Responsibilities:

\n
• \n

  Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and minor injuries.

\n
• \n

  Perform comprehensive physical examinations and develop appropriate treatment plans.

\n
• \n

  Order, interpret, and review diagnostic testing as needed.

\n
• \n

  Prescribe medications and provide follow-up recommendations.

\n
• \n

  Perform common urgent care procedures within scope of practice.

\n
• \n

  Educate patients regarding treatment plans, preventive care, and wellness.

\n
• \n

  Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).

\n
• \n

  Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure efficient patient care and clinic operations.

\n
• \n

  Adhere to all regulatory, clinical, and quality standards.

\n

Qualifications:

Required

\n
• \n

  MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.

\n
• \n

  Active state medical license (or eligibility for licensure).

\n
• \n

  Board Certified or Board Eligible.

\n
• \n

  Current BLS & ACLS certification.

\n
• \n

  Minimum 1 year of physician experience.

\n
• \n

  Previous Urgent Care, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care experience.

\n

Preferred

• \n

  4+ years experience, preferred

\n
• \n

  Interest in occupational medicine and physical examinations.

\n
• \n

  Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical setting.

\n
