Job Description As a Security Officer - Data Center Rover in Goodyear, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a high-tech data center location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response guidelines at a high-technology location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of the building, data halls, exterior areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and support visitor and/or delivery processing in accordance with site policies and established post orders. Complete routine reports, logs, and shift communications regarding patrol activity, incidents, and other security-related matters. Minimum Requirements: Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
