Certified Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth patient flow by supporting physicians and clinical staff in delivering healthcare services. This role involves a combination of administrative, clerical, and patient care tasks to enhance the efficiency of medical operations. Key Responsibilities Greet and register patients upon arrival, ensuring all demographic and billing information is accurate. Complete forms, prepare charts, and review fee slips for accuracy. Maintain office filing systems and update electronic medical records as necessary. Collect patient payments in line with cash handling policies and procedures. Assist with patient procedures and provide administrative support to clinical staff. Required Qualifications Graduate from a medical assistant program. None required, but relevant education or equivalent experience is preferred. Preferred Qualifications 1 year of experience providing medical assistance in a physician's office, nursing facility, or hospital.
