Description

• Conduct evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric clients utilizing standardized assessments and observational methods.
• Craft individual treatment plans that address specific communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy focusing on language, fluency, voice, and swallowing techniques.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team including occupational and physical therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to ensure an integrated approach to care.
• Provide guidance and education to patients and their families to enhance progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Occasionally assist with inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain precise documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Engage in continuing education and collaborate with colleagues to stay at the forefront of the field.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not currently ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Active state licensure for a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
