Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and night shift availability.

Details

• MS/Tele unit in a hospital setting with 24 beds
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Charting performed in Epic
• Floating required within scope to meet facility needs, including to other facilities within a 75-mile radius
• Block scheduling is not available for this position

Requirements

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact) required — pending licenses will not be accepted
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and Basic Dysrhythmia
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Valid driver's license and a utility bill in the traveler's name with a matching address dated within the last 3 months are required for consideration
• Two supervisory references required for consideration
• Copies of all certifications required for consideration
• Candidate's permanent address must be more than 75 miles from the facility — local candidates will not be considered

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer per 13-week assignment — no holiday or blackout date requests will be accepted
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from this health system for at least 1 year to be eligible for a travel assignment
• A 12-week contract length applies to this position
