Manufacturing Process EngineerAll Qualified Candidates Will Be Responded To In 24 Hours Or LessDevelops and optimizes manufacturing processes to improve safety, efficiency, and effectiveness on the production floorUses lean manufacturing principles as part of CPI initiativesIdentifies bottlenecks and waste in production processesCreates metrics by collecting production data and applies statistical analyses to evaluate current vs. improved manufacturing processesChampions Kaizen events to improve productivityDocuments and generates process flowcharts, process travelers, and work instructionsCalculates workspace requirements and designs strategies to optimize the facility's workspaceEvaluates, suggests, and implements changes in production areas to ensure compliance with safety protocolsEvaluates, recommends, procures, and deploys production equipment as necessary to achieve CPI goalsGenerates PFMEAsCreates training documents and preventative maintenance manualsBS degree in Process, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferredProven track record in CPI in a lean manufacturing environmentExperience leading or being a team member in Kaizen eventsHighly independentExtensive experience using statistical analysis tools to monitor processesExperience in generating PFMEAsWorking knowledge in soldering, brazing, and welding processesFamiliarity with induction equipment for soldering and brazing operations a plusExperience in the manufacturing of small electromechanical products desirableProven track record of resolving manufacturing problemsExcellent verbal and written skillsProficiency using MS Excel requiredAbility to read engineering drawings a mustEmployment type: Full Time - DirectRate: 100K - 130K Depending on experience and skills matchBenefits: including Health, Dental Vision, PTO, Holiday, 401K, short term disability, long term disability, AD&D, life insurance, and any applicable federal and state sick leave
