Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to transport and move materials such as soil, mulch, gravel, and other aggregates.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and storage areas efficiently and accurately.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and routine preventive maintenance to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Follow all OSHA regulations, company safety procedures, and site-specific protocols.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate daily tasks and maintain workflow.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions, maintenance needs, or safety hazards promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Previous experience operating front-end loaders or other heavy construction equipment required.
- Strong understanding of heavy equipment safety practices and job site procedures.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
