Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience working with pediatric and/or school-based caseloads preferred
• Knowledgeable in evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with educators, families, and other school professionals
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to individual student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, in-person therapy sessions to students with diverse speech and language needs
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Monitor and document progress, maintaining thorough and accurate records
• Collaborate closely with teachers and parents, providing strategies for speech and language support in the classroom
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the ongoing development of educational and therapeutic goals
• Engage in school activities and serve as a resource to staff on communication disorders
