Respiratory Care Practitioner

Schedule:

1. Monday-Sunday 7:00am-7:00pm (scheduled days will be on a rotating basis)
2. Call time is required and is typically one weekend during a six-week period

• Both job codes 4250 (RCP, Advanced) & 4140 (RCP) Tier 2 Cash Allowance + Managed Budget up to $8,000

Requirements:

Education - Completion of a 2 year AMA approved respiratory care program (Associates Degree or the equivalent) or currently enrolled in an AMA approved Respiratory Care Program, and registry eligible.

• Plays a critical role in patient care across neonatal, pediatric, and adult populations
• Must be skilled in a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures:
• CPAP, BiPAP, ABG, Endotracheal intubation/extubating

Compensation:

• RCP:
• 0 yoe $28.94/hr.
• 20 yoe - $39.03/hr.

Education:

Completion of a 2 year AMA approved respiratory care program (Associates Degree or the equivalent) or currently enrolled in an AMA approved Respiratory Care Program, and registry eligible.

License/Certifications:

North Carolina State Licensure or North Carolina State Provisional License, Certification by the National Association for Respiratory Care (NBRC) if graduate.

Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), and any other applicable certifications applicable to the institution.
