Job Description
TITLE
Registered Nurse - Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory

SCHEDULE
3x12 hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) including weekends, holidays, on-call, and charge per unit.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

REQUIREMENTS
- 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab
- Current RN License (state license required)
- BLS (AHA) certification
- ACLS (AHA) certification
- Moderate sedation training
- Telemetry experience
- Experience with TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics, Cardiac Interventions, CTO, PCI, Pericardiocentesis, Vascular Interventions, RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, FlowTriever
- Mechanical circulatory support experience (ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo, LVAD)
- Structural heart experience (TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, Valvuloplasty, ASA)
- Critical care or cardiac experience required

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology labs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Monitor patients pre, intra, and post-procedure, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Educate patients and families about procedures, risks, and post-procedural care.
- Maintain thorough and accurate patient records.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- Must be familiar with compliance policies regarding orientation, background checks, drug screening, and dress code.
