✂️ Experienced Dog Groomer Wanted – Immediate Opportunity

Bastrop Veterinary Hospital is actively seeking an experienced Pet Groomer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled groomer with an existing skillset who is ready to step into a busy, established client base and earn competitive commission-based income.

⚠️ Important: Candidates must have prior professional dog grooming experience . We do not offer training for this position. You must have their own tools (scissors, clippers, and blower) We will provide a bathtub, soap, grooming table.

• Perform full-service grooming: bathing, brushing, clipping, nail trims, and styling 
• Evaluate coat and skin condition and recommend appropriate services 
• Safely handle and restrain pets to ensure a stress-free experience 
• Maintain a clean, organized grooming workspace 
• Communicate clearly with pet owners about grooming needs and preferences 
• Keep accurate grooming records and client notes 
• Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure pet health and safety

• Proven professional grooming experience (REQUIRED)
• Your own grooming tools (clippers, scissors, brushes, blower, etc.) 
• High-quality, compassionate grooming services 
• Reliability, professionalism, and strong work ethic 
• Ability to work independently and manage your schedule

• Prior experience as a dog groomer (required)
• Strong animal handling and restraint skills 
• Excellent customer service and communication skills 
• Ability to lift and handle dogs of all sizes 
• Experience with cats is a plus
