Responsibilities • Conduct engineering activities ensuring compliance with environmental, safety, or other governmental regulations.• Perform engineering design tasks for roadway projects from conceptual design to final design. This includes having a good working knowledge of the entire project life cycle. • Create analytical two and three-dimensional models• Make complex calculations in planning or assessing structures• Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labor to determine project feasibility.• Prepare reports on various highway projects by the highway design engineer for the company.• Plan and design toward alignment critical path using computer assisted design or drawing tools.• Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, or other topographical or geologic data.• Provide technical advice to industrial or managerial personnel regarding design, construction, or program modifications or structural repairs.Minimum Requirements • Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or related field. • Minimum of two (2) years of experience of progressive responsibility in similar positions. • Proficient in MicroStation, GEOPAK, AutoCAD, and other applicable design software.Seize the challenge.
