Software Developer – Nuclear Systems An advanced engineering and technology organization is seeking a Software Developer to support the design, development, and maintenance of software solutions for nuclear and safety-critical systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, problem-solving, and systems integration, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams in a highly technical environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications for nuclear and industrial systems Support development of reactor control, monitoring, and operational software solutions Collaborate with engineering, controls, and systems teams to integrate software with complex hardware environments Participate in software verification, validation, debugging, and troubleshooting activities Ensure compliance with safety, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements Prepare technical documentation, reports, and software specifications Support continuous improvement initiatives and software lifecycle management Work independently and collaboratively within remote or distributed technical teams Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience Strong programming skills in C/C++, Python, Java, or similar languages Experience with software testing, debugging, and version control practices Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively in collaborative engineering environments Preferred Qualifications Experience working in nuclear, industrial automation, aerospace, defence, or other regulated industries Familiarity with control systems, embedded software, or real-time systems Knowledge of software quality assurance, safety standards, or cybersecurity practices Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering project teams Why Apply?
