Per Diem Neonatal Hospitalist at Johnston-Willis Hospital in Richmond, VAPediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced, Board Certified Pediatric Hospitalist with recent Neonatoloy experience to work as a per diem Neonatal Hospitalist at Johnston-Willis Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality care across the NICU and Newborn Nursery while working alongside experienced neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners in a collaborative environment.Opportunity Highlights22-bed Level III NICU with private roomsApproximately 1,700 annual deliveriesIn-house 12-hour shiftsAttend high-risk deliveries and expand procedural skillsCollaborate with experienced neonatologists and NNPsComprehensive care in the NICU and Newborn NurseryResponsibilitiesAttend high-risk deliveriesProvide neonatal resuscitation and stabilizationDiagnose and manage newborn medical conditionsCare for premature and medically complex infants in conjunction with the NeonatologistsPartner with multidisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomesSkills required:Newborn airway management including intubationUmbilical arterial and venous catheter placementQualificationsBoard Certification in Pediatrics with recent experience in Neonatology requiredVA license requiredBenefits and CompensationOur clinicians enjoy a competitive compensation package, with many locations offering sign-on bonuses and relocation.Take great care of the patient, every day and every way.
