Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized, medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs to promote mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability
• Provide patient education on injury prevention, ergonomics, restorative therapy, and rehabilitation
• Supervise physical therapy assistants and aides in the delivery of treatment
• Complete PT evaluations to support patient flow and reduction of harm
• Deliver care across a hospital setting serving patients of varying ages and diagnoses

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia Physical Therapist (PT) license required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical PT experience; hospital experience preferred
• BLS certification required — must be issued through the American Heart Association

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an acute care or hospital-based setting
• Travel therapy experience
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
