Commercial HVAC Senior Service Technician

Carolina Commercial Systems (CCS) is a full-service mechanical contractor serving the Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill area. We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Senior Service Technician with at least 3 years of industry experience to join our Commercial Service Team. Pay: $30 – $40.00 per hour What You’ll Do Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC equipment according to manufacturer standards. Perform scheduled maintenance and testing on equipment covered by maintenance contracts. Use diagnostic tools and testing equipment to identify issues and recommend solutions. Record and report service details, including parts used, time cards, and repair notes. Maintain communication with the Service Supervisor regarding assignments and schedule changes. Provide professional on-site customer service and owner training as needed. Operate and maintain company vehicles and tools according to policy. Participate in on-call rotations for nights, weekends, and holidays. Ensure safety practices are followed to protect yourself, coworkers, customers, and property. Job Requirements At least 3 years of commercial HVAC service experience. A valid driver’s license and ability to meet all physical job requirements. EPA refrigerant certification (NATE certification is a plus but not required). Ability to work in varying outdoor weather conditions. Strong technical knowledge, including familiarity with Carrier controls, Trane control products, and DDC technology (preferred). Reliability in reporting to work on time and completing daily assignments. Professionalism when interacting with customers and coworkers. Willingness to complete OSHA 10 and 30 training (provided by CCS). Successful completion of a drug screen, background check, and physical readiness testing prior to hire.
