Position Highlights Status: Full Time Schedule: Monday–Friday; on‑call and some weekends/holidays required Location: Fully on‑site – Silver Spring, MD Compensation: $100,000–$110,000 Bonus Eligibility: 10% Annual Target Bonus Travel: Local for assessments Salary & Bonus Competitive starting annual salary of $100,000–$110,000, commensurate with experience, with a first‑year bonus of $15,000. $5,000 after 6 months $10,000 after 1 year After your first year, you’ll transition to a 10% annual performance bonus target. What You’ll Do Clinical Leadership & Compliance Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, and company policies and ownership standards. Oversee assessments, service plans, and resident health documentation in accordance with state requirements. Monitor clinical outcomes, implement corrective action, and lead quality improvement initiatives. Partner with the Executive Director and department heads to align resident health and safety goals with community operations. Maintain open communication with residents and families regarding changes in care or health status. Resident Care & Services Lead the clinical team in providing exceptional care, including wellness checks, medication management, and service plan updates. Ensure resident service plans are accurate and updated to reflect current health status. Partner with physicians, pharmacy consultants, and allied providers to ensure continuity of care. Support education and engagement of residents and families in the care process. Team Leadership & Development Hire, train, schedule, and supervise nurses, care managers, and other clinical team members. Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities for staff. Foster teamwork, accountability, and a culture of compassion and service excellence. Ensure adequate staffing levels, competency training, and clinical supplies to meet resident needs. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the current state required. Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience with one (1) year of nursing leadership experience. Experience in assisted living with knowledge of Maryland regulations required. Strong understanding of nursing practices, assessment techniques, and wellness services. CPR, First Aid, BLS Certification required. Delegating Nurse or willingness to become a delegating nurse. Knowledge of ECP or comparable is desired. Ability to work collaboratively with ED and leadership team with state regulations. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and manage a clinical team. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems. Participation in on‑call and weekends/holidays required. Travel required for resident assessments.
