Job Details Kettering Health Soin | Beavercreek | Full-Time | First Shift Responsibilities & Requirements Job Responsibilities: GI Technician (GI Tech) serves as a member of the interdisciplinary team and is responsible for assisting with patient care under the supervision of a professional nurse. The GI Tech performs nursing care skills that have been delegated by the licensed nurse. She/he plays an integral role in the patient care experience and both directly and indirectly impacts the perception of care. The GI Tech reports to the charge nurse or clinical manager. Paid On-Call is required for position. Preferred Qualifications Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Passes a pre-hire employment tests Successful completion of KHN GI Tech orientation GI endoscopy experience preferred in all aspecsts of endoscopy procedures Preferred minimum of 1 year experience as a GI Tech or Endoscopy GI scheduling of cases preferred Front desk and pre/post op care of patient preferred CPR certification Overview Kettering Health is a not-for-profit system of 14 medical centers and more than 120 outpatient facilities serving southwest Ohio.
