Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2480 per week.

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Daily parking costs $15+/day. On- and off-campus garages and lots offer monthly parking passes ranging from $95 - $120.

Required Skills/Experience:
Basic EKG experience and the ability to interpret telemetry strips are required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
3+ years of experience and prior experience in a very busy hospital are preferred.
Charge experience is preferred but not required.

Unit Details:
Provides backup coverage for neurology, stroke, and neurosurgery, including 2-4 beds for Candida auris patients.

Shift & Scheduling:
Shift hours: 7a-7p; clinicians must arrive 15 min early for shift change.
Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday).
Holidays are rotated with permanent staff.
Clinicians must be flexible with scheduling; self-scheduling is not available.

Floating Requirements:
Clinicians are first to float.
Clinicians must be open to floating; floating assignments require cardiac drip experience.

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days. Maximum consecutive days off: 5

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
