Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Summary:
The Operating Room Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive perioperative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. They ensure patient safety, support surgical teams, and facilitate smooth surgical processes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients preoperatively to determine their needs and review medical histories.
• Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and ensuring proper technique.
• Monitor patient vital signs and manage patient recovery post-surgery.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and expected outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma.
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience, with CVOR experience preferred.
• Required certifications relevant to perioperative or surgical nursing.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient and team interactions.
