Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Community Health Systems (CHS).

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: In addition to meeting the unit experience requirements, your work experience needs to reflect at least 12 months (1 year) of uninterrupted experience working in the same unit/specialty you’re applying to. Ability to demonstrate competency in sonographic procedures including abdominal, vascular, cardiac, and OB procedures.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Echo experience preferred. Adult cardiac sonography preferred.

Unit Details: Provides diagnostic services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include abdominal, pelvic (gynecological and obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms; small parts scanning (thyroid, breast, and scrotum); and ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekends only: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Call required Saturday and Sunday nights.

Floating Requirements: Possible floating to outpatient imaging center required.
