Job Purpose: To produce envelopes on folding machines that meet company quality standards while maintaining optimum speeds and minimal downtimeMain Responsibilities and Accountabilities:1. Check work of previous shift for quality & correctness and notify supervisor of any issues2. Check the quality of the finished envelopes throughout the job by following company quality control procedures and correct issues as necessary to maintain and/or achieve the quality standards3. Change machines between sizes, styles, windows, gum, and printing from one job to the next with minimal downtime4. Keep machines running at optimum speed to meet or exceed production targets while maintaining quality standards5. Identify machine malfunctions, troubleshoot, and correct in a timely manner6. Notify a supervisor promptly when machines need maintenance/repairs above what can be completed by the adjuster7. Work as a team with other adjusters and operators to accomplish shift goals8. Assist Envelope Machine Operators with their duties when necessary and/or when available9. Keep envelope folding machine and area around machine neat & clean10. Fill out production paperwork and pull samples as directed11. Communicate with outgoing shift and incoming shift regarding equipment status, job status, and any other relevant information12. Perform routine maintenance and general repairs on envelope folding machines as directed by supervisor13. Duties include standing for most of the shift, repetitive hand & wrist motions, reaching with hands and arms, regular lifting of up to 75 pounds, and possibly working overtime14. Perform other duties as assigned by management from time to time15. Execute the responsibilities of this position following company safety policies and company procedures
