Role Description The Machine Operator role is a full-time, on-site position located in Rochester, NY. The Machine Operator will set up, operate, and monitor production machinery in accordance with safety standards, work instructions, and quality requirements. Responsibilities include loading and unloading materials, performing routine equipment checks, using hand tools for adjustments, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The role also involves inspecting finished products for defects, documenting production data, and communicating with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow. Machine Operators may assist with minor troubleshooting, support continuous improvement initiatives, and follow all company policies and procedures. Qualifications Strong machine operation skills with experience operating production machinery and following standard operating procedures. Background in quality control, including inspecting parts, measuring tolerances, and documenting results to meet specifications. Ability to work safely with machinery and hand tools, including basic maintenance, adjustments, and proper use of equipment. Effective communication skills to interact with supervisors, teammates, and other departments, and to report issues clearly. Basic math and measurement skills, with the ability to read work orders, gauges, and simple blueprints or diagrams. Commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork in a manufacturing or industrial environment. High school diploma or equivalent; prior machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred.
