In Home Healthcare RN

Aveanna Healthcare seeks an experienced In Home Healthcare RN to provide high-acuity skilled nursing care to pediatric and adult patients in their homes. Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, ventilator and tracheostomy management, complex medication and IV administration, wound care, and coordination of care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. The RN will educate patients and families, maintain accurate clinical documentation, uphold infection control and safety standards, and support a culture of compassion, integrity, and teamwork while contributing to quality outcomes and patient satisfaction. Responsibilities Provide high-acuity skilled nursing care in patients’ homes Perform comprehensive and ongoing patient assessments Manage ventilators, tracheostomies, and other complex equipment Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per orders Deliver wound care and monitor for signs of infection or complications Educate patients and families on disease management and home care Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in EHR Follow infection control, safety, and emergency protocols Support a culture of compassion, integrity, and teamwork High-acuity patient assessment IV therapy and infusion management Ventilator and tracheostomy care Wound care Care planning and documentation Medication administration Electronic health record (EHR) use Patient and family education Infection control Emergency response Benefits Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Requirements Active RN license BLS certification ACLS preferred PALS preferred Home health experience preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Stryker Corporation
