Work Environment
This position is fully remote, providing flexibility to your working life while still offering a collaborative and dynamic environment. You will enjoy a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate the evolving needs of our clients. Our remote setting is supported by modern technologies and platforms that facilitate effective communication and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments using a variety of evidence-based practices and solution-focused interventions to create individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), appropriately tailored to meet each client's unique needs.
- Maintain comprehensive and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations.
- Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team composed of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to enhance overall patient care.
- Participate in regular peer review meetings and case consultations to continually elevate the standards of care delivered to our clients.
- Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources to empower informed decision-making.
- Stay abreast of developments in the field of mental health to ensure the incorporation of the latest research into clinical practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your work will directly impact a diverse clientele facing various mental health challenges, including those recovering from addiction, trauma survivors, and individuals coping with anxiety and depression. Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
- An active license to practice as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York state.
- Capability to utilize solution-based psychotherapy interventions effectively to address the unique needs of your client base.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate engagement with clients and collaboration with team members.
- Proficiency in problem-solving and critical thinking, enabling you to adapt to the varied scenarios that arise in clinical settings.

Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in outpatient mental health settings, specifically within community health clinics.
