Nucor Steel Gallatin is seeking qualified candidates for the position of HR Administrator to assist all Human Resources functions for the Division. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assisting with onboarding of new teammates. Maintaining teammate data in SAP/SuccessFactors/Employee Central/Employee Central Payroll, OnBase, NOVAtime, etc. Maintaining conformance to personnel policies, practices and legal requirements. Supporting other HR functions as needed (benefits, time and attendance, payroll, recruiting, training) with records management, projects, etc. Entering work requests and requisitions into IVARA system. Processing invoices and payment requests. Assisting with planning and coordinating company activities and events, reward/recognition efforts, charitable programs, and other teammate/public activities. Assisting in maintaining records and personnel files; corporate and government reporting and data management and reporting; and HRIS support. Other duties as assigned Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, & uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, & housekeeping standards at all times to ensure our team is 100% safe.

Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Proficiency in use of computers and in use of Microsoft Office suite of programs At least one year of human resources experience No relatives currently employed at Nucor Gallatin Detailed Selection Criteria: Attention to Detail: Thorough in accomplishing tasks & taking care to make sure that expectations are met. Problem Solving & Judgement/Decision making: Identifying problems & analyzing or reviewing related information to develop & evaluate options & implement the most appropriate solution. Accountability/Dependability: Monitoring/assessing performance of self, displays reliability & responsibility with work habits, is committed to fulfilling obligations, & has ability to hold others accountable for desired results. Teamwork: Demonstrated history of working as part of a coordinated effort with others to achieve a common goal. Personnel and Human Resources: Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, employment law, and personnel information systems.
