QUALITY INSPECTOR

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting machined parts and assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, customer specifications, and company quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience using precision measuring instruments and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control procedures.

salary: $49,920 - $75,000 per year

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Perform in-process, first article, and final inspections of machined components and assemblies.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer specifications.
• Use precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and CMM equipment.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
• Identify non-conforming materials and assist with corrective action processes.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and company quality procedures.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to verify product conformance.
• Maintain a clean and organized inspection area.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality and manufacturing processes.
