SGA Lists, a premier hospitality and staffing firm, is hiring an experienced Chef/Cook for a confidential private client in Saratoga Springs for the months of July and August. This is an exciting on-site opportunity at a beautiful private venue, supporting private parties and events throughout the season.
What You Will Do:
- Prepare and execute high-quality meals and menus for private clients at a and premier on-site venue.
- Lead or support meal preparation for private parties and special events throughout July.
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and cleanliness.
- Manage kitchen prep, cooking, and plating with precision and consistency.
- Collaborate with household or event staff to ensure seamless service.
- Adapt menus and service style to meet the client's preferences and event needs.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Manage inventory, ingredients, and kitchen organization as needed.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a chef or cook in a private, catering, restaurant, or high-end hospitality setting.
- Strong culinary skills across a range of cuisines and menu styles.
- Ability to work independently and manage a kitchen with minimal oversight.
- Professionalism and discretion when working in a private, confidential setting.
- Flexibility to accommodate event schedules, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and strong attention to detail.
