Tax Manager – CPA Firm
We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our growing CPA firm. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated tax professional who enjoys working closely with clients, mentoring staff, and managing a diverse portfolio of tax engagements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of public accounting tax experience
- Active CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation required
- Strong knowledge of individual, corporate, partnership, S corporation, trust, and nonprofit tax returns
- Experience with tax planning, research, and IRS/state tax matters
- Ability to manage multiple client engagements and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client relationship skills
- Experience with UltraTax tax software is a strong plus
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review complex federal and state tax returns
- Provide proactive tax planning and consulting services to clients
- Manage client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor
- Supervise, mentor, and review the work of tax staff
- Research tax issues and ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations
- Coordinate multiple engagements while maintaining high-quality client service
