Instrumentation & Controls Engineer

We are seeking an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to support instrumentation and control-system engineering for a large industrial refining project. This role will work closely with Process, Electrical, Piping, and other engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review instrumentation and controls engineering deliverables.
• Support instrument specifications, datasheets, control-system requirements, and technical documentation.
• Review P&IDs and identify instrumentation requirements.
• Assist with instrument selection and application.
• Coordinate instrumentation requirements with Process, Electrical, Piping, and Mechanical disciplines.
• Review vendor documentation and equipment packages.
• Participate in design reviews and technical meetings.
• Ensure engineering deliverables meet applicable project standards and requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related discipline.
• Industrial instrumentation/controls engineering experience.
• Experience within refining, petrochemical, chemical processing, oil and gas, or EPC environments preferred.
• Familiarity with P&IDs and industrial instrumentation.
• Strong multidisciplinary coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Houston.
