Midland Medical is now hiring Physician in Oakland Park, FL

Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift | Monday 8am-1pm, Tuesday - Friday 8am-5pm

Pay Rate: $215K-$225K

What You’ll Do

The Physician Provider is responsible for providing sensitive, quality primary care and related services targeted to patients requiring treatment for HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C, and Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD’s).

• The Physician will support the organization’s goal in providing care to straight, lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender communities in all their diversity regardless of their immediate ability to pay.
• The Physician is responsible for screening, diagnoses, and treatment of patients and providing care in a sensitive and non-judgmental manner.
• The Physician will make appropriate internal and external referrals and is expected to maintain a high degree of professional competence and behavior while adhering to the highest possible ethical standards.
• This position works closely with the Medical Director under the direction of the Practice Administrator.
• In the capacity of the QA/Q1 component of this position, you will participate in the analyses of the healthcare data and on multiple projects related to quality, safety, and clinical performance.
• You will also facilitate and support cross-functional teams to improve operational processes critical to safe, high quality, efficient, patient-centered care by leveraging Change Management methodologies.
• You will promote using data in appropriate ways to achieve improvements in health care, set improvement goals, measure, and track the success of the project or initiative.

Education/Professional:

1. Medical Degree from an accredited Medical School and Residency Training Program
2. Current Medical license (Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy) in the state of Florida.
3. Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Infectious Disease.
4. AAHIVM certification if not an infectious disease specialist.
5. DEA certification.
6. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and have valid insurance and driver’s license.

Must be able to pass a Level I and Level II Background check as required.
