CRE Market Manager

Join us as a CRE Market Manager and help shape the growth of our Commercial Real Estate portfolio. In this role, you’ll lead production efforts, guide a talented team, and build strong relationships across the CRE community. Your work directly supports our mission to deliver high‑quality lending solutions while fostering long‑term partnerships. In this role you'll Direct the origination, underwriting, and management of CRE loans in alignment with the bank’s lending strategy. Lead and support the production activities of other originators within your assigned market. Originate, review, and underwrite CRE transactions of varying complexity. Develop and strengthen relationships with developers, housing authorities, consultants, syndicators, and service providers. Monitor the performance of the active loan portfolio according to bank and regulatory guidelines. Oversee credit files to ensure timely and accurate financial documentation, including tax returns, statements, and leasing information. Represent Banner Bank as a subject matter expert in CRE initiatives. Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, security requirements, and regulatory obligations. What we're looking for You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science, or a related field (Required). You bring 8 or more years of experience in Residential Construction or Home Builder Finance lending (Required). You have 6 or more years of supervisory or management experience leading a project, process, or team (Required). What helps you shine You have a deep understanding of residential, multifamily, and CRE construction loans, including complex financial structures, tax implications, and regulatory considerations. You excel at assembling, reviewing, and approving comprehensive financing packages with accuracy and insight. You are familiar with engineering reports, inspections, budgets, appraisals, title policies, insurance, taxes, and real estate regulations. You bring advanced analytical abilities paired with strong problem‑solving skills. You communicate clearly in both written and verbal form and stay highly organized in a fast‑moving environment.
