The Dining Room Manager will provide hands on dining room management of all front of house serving staff. Our restaurant and cafe function in a similar way to a hotel or private club restaurant and/or cafe. Our Dining Room Manager works with the Director of Culinary to determine staffing needs and help guide Dining Servers. We provide the best service to our residents and their guests.Qualifications:Provide hiring, training, leadership, counseling, and oversight of all serving staffParticipate directly in daily operations: managing, serving, cleaning under the direction of the Director of Dining ServicesResponsible for overall front of house operations to ensure a memorable dining experienceWork as a team with the other kitchen staff, overlapping responsibilities as needed to ensure exceptional service to residents and guestsInteract with residents and guests on a daily basisMaintain standards of cleanliness and attention to detailsEducation & Experience:High school diploma or GED or the equivalent education, training, and experienceMinimum of two (2) years restaurant / senior living or equivalent serving and staff management experienceValid Food Services Sanitation Certificate or ability to pass course once employed
