Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist | Tacoma, Washington

What you'll bring:

• Active Washington State Dept. of Health Speech-Language Pathology license
• Current Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Washington State SLP Educational Staff Associate (ESA) credential
• Fingerprint clearance and successful WSP & FBI background/sexual misconduct clearances
• Valid Washington State driver's license or proof of reliable local transportation
• School-based SLP experience preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds welcome
• Comfort working with pediatric populations and adapting approaches to individual student needs
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaborative skills

What you'll do:

• Deliver diagnostic and therapeutic speech-language services to school-age students
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Complete timely and thorough documentation in accordance with school and regulatory standards
• Assess, plan, and implement appropriate interventions in a supportive, child-centered environment
• Maintain compliance with confidentiality regulations and district protocols
• Work 37.5 hours per week, aligning with student in-person learning days
• Participate in IEP meetings, progress review sessions, and school-based teams as needed
