About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 22 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:40 - 19:10) Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty License: RN License required Certifications: BLS required (AHA only) Must-Have: Experience in Urology, Gynecology/Oncology, kidney transplant, pancreas transplant, and robotic surgery Description: TIER 5 GU/GYN/TX (kidney procurement and pancreas) position. 12-hour shifts from 06:40 to 19:10, three times a week with potential for one 09:40 to 22:10 shift biweekly. Includes weekend rotations and weekday call requirements. Experience required in kidney transplant, Davinci Xi robot, hysterectomy, urological robots, GYN robots, nephrectomy, HOLEP, cystectomy, ureteroscopy, laparoscopic gynecology, anterior/posterior repair, and abdominal hysterectomy. Candidate must possess knowledge in specimen handling and labeling, administration of blood and blood products, and code response. Familiarity with safety protocols such as fire safety and infection control is necessary. Traveler must float as needed to various units. Floating rules include a minimum of 50 miles from the facility. Pass/fail testing will be required with strict passing criteria. Telemetry exam must be completed prior to start, with specific passing scores for adult and pediatric exams. Failure to meet the passing criteria may result in cancellation of the assignment.
