Registered Nurse OBGYN/Urogynecology, Per Diem

Schedule Details: Monday through Friday Scheduled Hours: 8-4:30p Shift: 1 - Day Shift, 8 Hours (United States of America) Hours: 0 Cost Center: 10010 - 4153 Womens Services Urogyn Union: MNA-Memorial/Hahnemann This position may have a signing bonus available; a member of the Recruitment Team will confirm eligibility during the interview process. Major Responsibilities Utilizes the Nursing Process for the delivery and management of patient’s care from admission to discharge, appropriate to the developmental age of the patient population. Performs patient assessment/reassessment according to standard procedure. Develops and coordinates an individual plan of care including discharge planning. Directs, supervises, coordinates, and evaluates nursing care within the assigned clinical setting. Delegates appropriately to others in accordance with job description and competency level. Position Qualifications License/Certification/Education: Required: Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration. BLS certification is required for every RN unless ACLS certification is current, in addition to any unit‑specific certifications and competencies. ACLS through American Heart Association (AHA) is required in select areas (Gannett, MP1, ICU, ED, Cath Lab, Endo, IR, PACU, Float Pool) within 6 months or first scheduled course offering whichever is sooner. PALS through American Heart Association (AHA) is required in select areas (PACU, ED) within 6 months or first scheduled course offering whichever is sooner. NRP Advanced Provider through American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) is required in select areas (Maternity) within 6 months or first scheduled course offering whichever is sooner. Preferred: Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing highly preferred. Experience/Skills: Required: Thorough knowledge of the discipline of nursing. Unless certification, licensure, or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements.
