As a Senior Associate you will build meaningful client connections, navigate more complex situations, and deepen your technical skills while managing assigned workstreams and guiding junior team members. In this role at PwC, you will help clients address changing tax requirements, contribute to delivery across multiple work efforts, and use critical thinking to break down complex concepts into clear recommendations.Responsibilities- Analyzing tax reporting processes and transformation workstreams to identify opportunities for improved compliance and operational efficiency- Interpreting tax laws, accounting requirements, and reporting guidance to support client deliverables and issue resolution- Preparing and reviewing tax documentation, financial data, and supporting schedules for reporting and compliance activities- Supporting tax reporting strategy projects by tracking tasks, timelines, risks, and dependencies across assigned workstreams- Using analytical tools and digital technology to assess data quality, reconcile variances, and develop actionable insights- Collaborating with client teams to understand business context, gather information, and respond to changing reporting needs- Guiding junior team members by reviewing assigned work and providing feedback on technical accuracy and deliverable readiness- Applying tax accounting, tax compliance, and financial statement analysis skills to address complex reporting questions and recurring process issuesWhat You Must Have- At least a Bachelor's degree- At least 2 years of experience- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment (Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity).What Sets You Apart- At least one of the following: Certified Public Accountant, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity- Demonstrating tax transformation experience within client service engagements- Interpreting tax data into actionable insights and recommendations- Navigating complex tax operations using methodologies and digital tools- Developing client relationships while responding to varied perspectives- Mentoring junior team members and reviewing assigned deliverablesTravel RequirementsUp to 40%Job Posting End DateThe salary range for this position is: $77,000 - $214,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
