Medical Assistant

Maine Family Planning is hiring a full-time (37.50 hours a week) Medical Assistant to work in our Center for Reproductive Health (CRH). This position works in our Augusta clinic on Thursdays. Candidate will need to have flexibility to work in other clinic locations on additional days. Location to be determined. The CRH MA provides scheduling, education, follow-up, and clinical support to patients seeking abortion care in the Center for Reproductive Health. Responsible for assisting providers before, during, and after medication and aspiration abortions both in-person and via telehealth. Provides all care in compliance with written and approved protocols, and OSHA regulations. General Expectations Be committed to the organization’s mission, vision, and values. Qualifications Needed for Position Experience and Skill Requirements Excellent verbal skills and ability to relate to people required. Interest in sexual and reproductive health Education and Knowledge Requirements Licensed Medical Assistant preferred. High School Diploma required.
