Duration: 1+ Year Contract
Shift: 1st Shift
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:00 PM; Friday, 5:00 AM–10:00 AM
Overtime: Possible based on business needs
Schedule Flexibility: Required based on business demands

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Machine Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, overhaul, rebuilding, inspection, and alignment of industrial machines, machine tools, and mechanical equipment.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, experience working with precision equipment, the ability to read and interpret mechanical prints and electrical schematics, and hands-on experience with 240V/480V electrical systems .

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze machine and equipment failures and determine appropriate repairs.
• Dismantle, overhaul, adjust, repair, and rebuild machines, machine tools, and mechanical equipment.
• Rebuild equipment to required machine tolerances, including realignment and fitting of replacement parts.
• Inspect machines and mechanical equipment to determine their condition and identify major upcoming repair requirements.
• Complete inspection reports and help ensure necessary repair parts are available when needed.
• Plan work sequences and obtain the tools and equipment necessary to complete assigned maintenance activities.
• Work from mechanical prints, manufacturer instruction sheets, and sketches.
• Perform complete overhauls of complex machinery.
• Operate machine tools to produce new or replacement parts to close tolerances.
• Dismantle and rebuild equipment, including the installation and fitting of new or replacement components.
• Adjust equipment for proper working clearances and alignment.
• Fit and align gears, shafts, wheels, motors, pulleys, machines, and mechanical equipment.
• Inspect equipment in place and perform necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Lubricate, oil, and grease rebuilt or repaired equipment as necessary.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and ladder logic printouts .
• Trace electrical circuit operations to identify and isolate equipment faults.
• Troubleshoot and work with 240V/480V electrical systems .
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow established safety practices.
• Work independently with limited supervision.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in industrial machine maintenance, mechanical maintenance, or a closely related field .
• Strong experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Experience dismantling, rebuilding, aligning, and adjusting machinery.
• Ability to perform machine repairs and rebuilds requiring close tolerances and accurate alignment .
• Ability to read and work from mechanical prints, technical drawings, sketches, and manufacturer instructions .
• Ability to read and interpret:

• Experience working with 240V/480V electrical systems .
• Experience with machine tools and precision measuring instruments.

• Ability to work the required schedule with flexibility for overtime based on business needs.
