We are currently seeking skilled and dedicated Registered Sonographers to join our team at Baptist Emergency Room in Pensacola, Florida

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations in accordance with emergency room protocols, including vascular imaging.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Accurately document patient information and imaging results for medical records.
• Work closely with physicians and healthcare staff to provide timely and detailed imaging reports.
• Maintain equipment functionality through regular checks and troubleshooting as needed.
• Follow aseptic techniques and infection control protocols at all times.
• Stay up to date with advancements in ultrasound technology and emergency imaging techniques.

Qualifications

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification is required.
• Vascular imaging experience is required; RVT certification is preferred.
• Must be able to travel to Baptist Emergency Room in Pensacola, FL
• Experience in Vascular and obstetric/gynecologic (Ob/Gyn) sonography is highly preferred.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare teams.
• Ability to work independently and handle emergency cases efficiently.
