Ultrasonographer-Part Time

Location: OGI Carmel – 13420 N Meridian Street, Ste 400, Carmel, IN 46032, USA Position: Ultrasonographer (part‑time, 3 days per week) Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (No nights, no weekends, no holidays) Position Description: Provides ultrasound diagnostic services as directed by physicians, including scheduling, patient care during procedures, and communication with patients. Education and Experience: Requires an Associate’s Degree or equivalent from a two‑year college/technical school. Three to four years of directly related experience may be accepted in lieu of an Associate’s degree at the discretion of the practice. One to two years of related/applicable experience is also required. Licensure/Certification: Current ARDMS certification or eligibility required. CPR certification required. Major Responsibilities and Duties Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures as directed by physicians. Explain procedures to assure cooperation and optimum test results. Position patients, select appropriate transducers and machine settings. Conduct scanning procedures. Transmit images and documents electronically. Assemble materials and copies for physician review. Maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper maintenance. Order and stock all ultrasound supplies. Maintain all ultrasound records, reports, and files. Demonstrate flexibility and responsiveness in handling all customer interactions. Perform all other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
