This role is responsible for overseeing all phases of concrete self-perform operations, including structural foundations, flatwork, formwork, rebar coordination, concrete placement, finishing, budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor management, and project closeout.The Senior Project Manager will partner with clients, field operations teams, engineers, subcontractors, and executive leadership to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Projects may range from approximately $30 million to $500 million. Travel may be required.Essential ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership & ManagementLead all phases of concrete construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout.Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal project teams.Manage project buyouts, contract administration, change orders, estimates, and procurement activities.Develop and maintain project schedules using industry-standard scheduling tools.Concrete Construction OperationsDirect concrete self-perform operations including: structural concrete, foundations, flatwork, elevated slabs, formwork systems, reinforcing steel (rebar) coordination, concrete placement and finishing.Monitor labor productivity, equipment utilization, and material costs.Support field supervision and ensure efficient execution of work.Safety & QualityChampion a safety-first culture throughout all project phases.Ensure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and customer-specific standards.Promote quality control processes and continuous improvement initiatives.Partner with site safety teams to ensure safe project execution.Financial & Project ControlsManage budgets, forecasts, cost reports, and project financial performance.Review and approve project documentation, RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and change management processes.Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies.Ensure successful project closeout and turnover documentation.Team DevelopmentMentor and develop project managers, project engineers, and field leaders.Lead project meetings, planning sessions, and client reviews.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.Support recruiting, onboarding, and training initiatives.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.12+ years of experience managing self-perform concrete or foundation work on industrial, manufacturing, data center, energy, heavy commercial, or large-scale construction projects.Strong knowledge of: concrete construction methods, formwork systems, rebar detailing, concrete placement and finishing, project scheduling, cost management, estimating and forecasting.Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Sage 300, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or Tekla.Demonstrated leadership, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.Experience delivering projects through Design-Build, General Contracting, or Construction Management methods preferred.BenefitsCompetitive salaryMedical, dental, and vision insuranceDisability coveragePaid PTO and holidaysEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)401(k) retirement planCareer growth and advancement opportunitiesWork EnvironmentActive commercial and industrial construction sites.Exposure to outdoor weather conditions and construction environments.Frequent travel between project locations as needed.Extended hours may be required during critical project milestones.Equal Opportunity EmployerCommercial Contracting Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
