Diesel and Tractor Mechanic

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Diesel and Tractor Mechanic to join our team in Ephraim, Utah. In this role, you will diagnose, maintain, and repair a variety of diesel engines, agricultural tractors, and farm equipment. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical aptitude, a solid work ethic, and a commitment to keeping our equipment running safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on tractors and diesel vehicles. Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks. Repair or replace defective parts, engines, transmissions, and steering mechanisms. Conduct safety inspections on all equipment before it returns to operation. Keep clean and accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop work environment. Qualifications and Skills Proven experience as a diesel mechanic, tractor technician, or in a similar mechanical role. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical schematics. Ability to operate diagnostic tools and electronic repair equipment. Physical stamina to lift heavy parts and work in various weather conditions. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Must possess a valid driver's license and a personal set of basic tools.
