Comply with established level of service and support of legacy systems to corporate users to ensure minimal system downtime. Works closely with other database (Oracle, SQLServer, Sybase) and platform (e.g. UNIX, Mainframe, MS Server, Linux) team members to optimize performance and troubleshoot problems. Uses performance monitoring tools to work with application developers to identify and correct inefficient database operations. Serve as a resource to IS Business Analysts, customers, and Application Developers in designing, configuring and implementing systems supporting business and operational needs.
