Job Title: Fabrication Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Fabrication Laborer in the fabrication/finishing department, where you will be integral in creating fiberglass structures. This entry-level position offers training to those who demonstrate basic skills and a willingness to work.

Responsibilities

• Pack and crate products.
• Drill holes and apply handles.
• Seal ends of products.
• Make angle cuts using a chop saw.
• Utilize nail guns, chop saws, drills, and other hand tools.

Essential Skills

• Ability to pass a tape measure test.
• At least 3 months of experience in production, construction, or manufacturing.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools such as wrenches, ratchets, screwdrivers, tape measures, hammers, power drills, and nail guns.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Mechanical inclination.
• Proficiency in using a tape measure.
• Good attendance and reliability.

Work Environment

Work in a fiberglass environment where steel toe boots are required. The dress code is casual, allowing jeans and t-shirts. The facility is generally clean but may have a strong odor and can be itchy.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alum Bank, PA.

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
