Wolf Powder Coating and Fabrication is a Las Vegas metal fabrication and powder coating shop. We are hiring a Preparation Technician.

Preparation is the stage that decides whether a finish lasts. You will clean, pretreat, rinse, dry and mask parts before they are coated and you will check and record your own work as you go. The work is not complicated. Doing it the same careful way every time is what makes somebody good at it.

What you will be doing

• Cleaning and degreasing incoming metal parts.
• Running parts through the pretreatment process.
• Testing baths and recording the readings.
• Rinsing, drying and checking parts are ready to coat.
• Masking and plugging to the drawing.
• Keeping your area clean, safe and organized.

What we are looking for

• Someone careful and consistent, who checks their own work.
• Willing to follow a written procedure exactly.
• Comfortable working in a wet environment and wearing chemical PPE.
• Able to be on your feet for a full shift and lift with assistance where needed.
• English or Spanish
• Reliable. The line depends on this department.

Previous experience in powder coating, plating, metal finishing or industrial cleaning is a plus but is not required.
