Emergency Room Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00); Day shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)

An opportunity exists for a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The selected candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages dealing with various medical emergencies.

Responsibilities:

• Assessing, planning, and implementing patient care in the emergency department
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction and failures
• Performing triage and stabilizing patients
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide quality patient care
• Maintaining accurate patient records in Cerner

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license in PA or Compact state
• 1 year of previous charge experience in an Emergency Department
• Experience with a patient ratio of 4-5
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, PALS
• Experience with Cerner charting system is required
