- 7:00 am-3:30 pm, with a 30 minute unpaid lunch period
- 40 hrs / week
- Assist physicians, PAs, and nurses with patient flow, including vital signs, weight, and BEMR documentation.
- Schedule and perform laboratory testing, specimen collection, processing, and in-processing requirements, including DNA testing, vaccines, and PPD updates.
- Properly package, transport, document, and track specimens according to laboratory procedures.
- Ensure lab requests and reports are complete, returned, documented, filed/scanned, and communicated to providers.
- Maintain laboratory procedures, equipment, supplies, and required records in compliance with CLIA and applicable standards.
- Coordinate with BOP and contract reference laboratories and assist with CLIA recertification.
- Support implementation of laboratory policies and procedures while maintaining compliance with AAAHC standards.
- Valid certification to practice in the state of New Jersey as a Medical Assistant, Laboratory Must be Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certified, in accordance with the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Shall provide a resume and requested documentation along with copy of all diplomas and/or certificates to support stated qualification.
- Three (3) letters of reference
- Additional certifications may be required.
- Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
- Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., . BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements ) .
