This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable working with technology products, and able to take ownership of a clean, organized, and efficient facility.

- Manage e-waste handling, storage, tracking, and disposal coordination.
- Unbox audiovisual and technology equipment for inspection, staging, or preparation.
- Perform basic software and firmware updates on equipment as directed.
- Track and maintain company inventory, including project inventory, warehouse stock, spare equipment, partner-held inventory, and third-party reseller inventory.
- Support check-in/check-out processes for equipment, tools, and materials.
- Help prepare equipment for deployment to project sites.
- Make local and in-region drop-offs to project sites using the company van.
- Keep accurate records of received, shipped, staged, returned, transferred, delivered, or disposed equipment.
- Coordinate with project managers, technicians, vendors, partners, and internal staff on equipment needs and delivery timelines.
- Identify inventory shortages, damaged products, missing items, or warehouse process issues.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
Qualifications
- Prior warehouse, inventory, facilities, logistics, shipping/receiving, or operations experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with technology products, electronics, AV equipment, or IT hardware.
- Ability to follow written procedures and document work accurately.

- Additional driving certifications, safety training, or fleet experience are a plus.
- Ability to lift, move, unbox, pack, and organize equipment and materials.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with internal teams.
- Experience with inventory systems, spreadsheets, shipping platforms, or project management tools is a plus.
- Experience performing firmware/software updates on electronics or AV equipment is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move equipment, boxes, and materials.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and work in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to safely handle packaged electronics, displays, accessories, and related materials.
- Ability to load and unload materials for local delivery.
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation will be based on experience.

Company Description Our History
Frequency Audio-Visual Services began installing hospitality sound systems in 2000, and we soon discovered that our strength lay in finding unique solutions to complex audio challenges. Our clients had limited budgets, challenging acoustic spaces, and aesthetic constraints. We began designing unconventional systems that leveraged the latest technology and creative installation approaches—and quickly became a design leader in Chicago. As our client base expanded, so did their needs for complete AV services. We added video products to our portfolio in 2004 and began offering full system integration when we incorporated in the fall of 2005.
Over the years, we’ve continued to push the envelope in audio-visual equipment and installation techniques. We are an A+ rated member of the Better Business Bureau, and our staff is trained and certified to install, program, and service a wide variety of industry-leading products. Designing the Future
Technology never stops evolving—and neither do we. We were among the first to advocate for reduced conduit sizing requirements for AV cables, significantly lowering construction costs associated with audiovisual scopes. We also aggressively design systems distributed over Cat5/6 cabling to further reduce costs. Our systems are rooted in the latest technologies while remaining compatible with industry standards and legacy equipment. Our “Credo”
What makes our audiovisual systems so exceptional is their simplicity. While the systems themselves may not be simple, the end-user experience is. When we design a system, we don’t approach it from the perspective of “a finished project”; we design from the perspective of “a system in use.” It’s not just important that the designer or installer can operate the system—it’s essential that any user can: right away, six months later, or even five years down the line. Can end users easily operate the equipment? Can the system be economically serviced by any audiovisual technician? Is the installed system not only aesthetically pleasing but also user-friendly? Can the system be expanded in the future without incurring significant additional construction costs? These are the questions we ask—and answer—before putting our name on a system. It’s the little things that truly matter. When technology doesn’t work, it’s noticeable—it interferes. But when design and installation are done right, technology becomes transparent. Frequency AV keeps this goal in mind when planning, executing, and maintaining integrated audiovisual solutions. We design not to be noticed—but to enhance the everyday workplace experience. Our Future
Frequency Audio-Visual Services is a company built on the strength of our reputation and our relationships with customers. Our clients are consistently satisfied and return to us time and again with new projects. We are highly recommended by some of the top architects, contractors, IT professionals, manufacturers, and businesses in the country because of how seamlessly we work within their budgets and timelines to help them meet their AV goals. We will continue to grow our team and deliver on the promise of best-in-class audiovisual service!
